College students are getting a firsthand look at what it’s like to pitch a business idea thanks to a University of Washington Tacoma competition.

The Veterans Incubator for Better Entrepreneurship (VIBE) at UW Tacoma is holding a business plan competition that gives students an opportunity to pitch their business ideas to investors.

The competition is not just for business students; college students of all majors are welcome to participate.

The trade show round is 1-5 p.m. May 16. The final round is 1-5 p.m. May 22. Both events are at the RAIN Incubator, 2304 Jefferson Ave., Tacoma.
