Lacey-based Washington PTAC is offering workshops to help small business owners looking to sell services or goods to city, state, or federal government agencies.

Washington PTAC is an organization aimed at helping small businesses “find, bid on, and win government contracts.”  Every second Friday of the month Washington PTAC hosts a workshop to help small businesses land government contracts.

This month’s workshop will be from 2:30-4 p.m. on April 13 at the Lacey campus of South Puget Sound Community College. The workshop’s topic is: ‘Marketing to Government Prime Contractors.’ Small business owners will learn about creating marketing materials, how to locate opportunities, and networking best practices.

All experienced small business owners with a basic understanding of government contracting are welcome to attend. Construction firms, in particular, are strongly encouraged to participate in the workshop.
