On June 5, women all over the world will come together and celebrate Women’s Golf Day. Participants in 46 countries will play golf, take lessons, and network with other women golfers.

South Sound favorite Salish Cliffs Golf Club, at Little Creek Casino just outside of Olympia, is hosting its own Women’s Golf Day event. From 3:30 to 7 p.m. on June 5, participants can play nine holes, attend a swing clinic, and enjoy wine and appetizers. Tickets for the event cost $49.

“For a while, the industry was looking at ways to engage women,” Women’s Golf Day Founder Elisa Gaudet stated. “I am elated and proud that this one-day international event has introduced thousands of new female golfers to the sport and impassioned existing golfers while transcending language, culture, religion, and race to celebrate golf, women, and community.”

Women’s Golf Day was founded in 2016 and grew by 68% in 2017. Learn more about the event here.
