Based in Seattle, Knell reports to John Manning, head of Wells Fargo Commercial Banking West Region. Previously, the life-long Seattle resident served as division manager for the region’s middle-market banking segment.

As part of the new model, Laura MacNeil will serve as market executive for Western Washington and Canada. Most recently, MacNeil was the Pacific Northwest regional leader for the region’s business banking group. Prior to that, the 26-year industry veteran served as head of Risk Management and Compliance for middle-market banking and division manager for Northern Texas and Oklahoma commercial banking.

In addition to MacNeil, Knell also named market executives for the remaining regions in her division: Joseph Everhart (Alaska), Christopher Mele-Wagner (Western Oregon and SW Washington), and Don Stafford (Idaho, Eastern Oregon, and Central/Eastern Washington).
