Wells Fargo, collaborating with Rairdon’s Honda of Burien, donated a Honda Passport Wednesday, Nov. 11, to a veteran during a Veterans Day event at the Museum of Flight.
The donation was made through the Military Warriors Support Foundation’s Transportation4Heroes program, which is supported by Wells Fargo.
The program offers payment-free vehicles, as well as family and financial mentorship, to help ease the transition from military to civilian life, according to a press release. The release added that since 2012, Wells Fargo has donated upward of 400 homes to veterans nationwide and provided more than 40 vehicles in collaboration with local dealerships.
The recipient of the vehicle, Army veteran Lucas Thompson, served from 2008 to 2014, and currently lives in Edgewood with his wife and two children.
