Uline, the Wisconsin-headquartered shipping materials distributor, is moving its Washington warehouse from Auburn to Lacey in Feb. 2019, and expects to hire between 40 and 50 employees to support the new location.

“The move to Lacey allows us to consolidate our existing three buildings under one roof. Bringing the entire team together will enable speed, teamwork and greater efficiency,” Washington Branch Manager Aaron Francis said in a statement. “We’re excited to move our operations to Lacey. It’s a booming community that offers everything we’re looking for, including talented people.”

With nearly 811,000 square feet of warehouse and office space, the new Lacey location will serve customers in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and southern British Columbia.

Uline is hosting a job fair from 8-11 a.m. on Aug. 18 in Lacey to find candidates to fill both general warehouse and mechanic positions. Each new general warehouse hire will receive a $2,000 sign-on bonus.
