Thurston’s Economic Development Council announced that Eva Coblentz will join the organization as program manager for the Washington Center for Women in Business (WCWB).

Coblentz’s career has included roles in project management, community engagement, and educational services in both the public and private sectors. She has worked with nonprofit organizations and private corporations both domestically and internationally. Coblentz holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and a Master’s in Public Administration.

As a small business owner, Coblentz assisted in developing a small business association to serve the community of Des Moines, Washington. She currently serves on the advocacy committee of the Junior League of Olympia and the advisory board of The Latino Community Fund of Washington State.

In a press release, Coblentz stated, “I’m excited about the opportunity in providing a vast variety of resources to empower women entrepreneurs who support one another, which in turn empowers the next generation of women.”
