On April 21, over 3,000 Comcast employees and community partners will volunteer at 27 different sites throughout Washington state during the 17th annual Comcast Cares Day. Comcast expects more than 100,000 volunteers to participate worldwide.

This year’s Washington event will focus especially on helping people who are homeless or living in transitional housing.

“More than 4,700 employees call Washington home, and giving back to our own communities means a lot to us,” said Amy Lynch, Comcast’s regional vice president, Washington region. “This year, we’re particularly eager to work alongside our community partners to help ensure that people from all walks have access to resources, services, and technology that can help improve their quality of life.”
