Looking for a job? With the 2020 Census looming, the U.S. Census Bureau is looking to fill thousands of temporary jobs across the country.

Available jobs include recruiting assistants, clerks, office operations supervisors, census field supervisors, and census takers. These jobs offer flexible work hours, including daytime, evenings, and weekends.

Individuals interested in applying should visit the 2020 Census Jobs website. From there, applicants are placed in a pool and are considered as positions become available. Each application will remain active and editable throughout the recruiting and hiring period.

The Bureau states that it’s using funds appropriated in prior years to hire its employees, therefore, another government shutdown like the one that just ended should not impact the hiring and employment process.
