The City of Tacoma will recognize top volunteers and service providers during its 34th Annual City of Destiny Awards, which has been reformatted to a virtual event that will be released this summer.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the live event, originally scheduled for May 28, has been postponed and reformatted. The new format, hosted across various platforms, will highlight all of this year’s awardees, and feature local performers. The City said that it will release information on the date and time of the ceremony at a later date.
