The Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber, which recently partnered with Fred Meyer and the Business Health Trust, announced in a press release today that it will be administering 500 Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines Monday, April 12, at the Courthouse Square in Tacoma.

Currently, the chamber is looking for several volunteers to help with wayfinding, directional help, and sanitization. According to the release, five volunteers are needed for the morning shift (8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) and 10 are needed for the afternoon shift (12:30-5 p.m.).

The release also highlighted a need for volunteers able to speak Korean, Vietnamese, and/or Spanish to help with check-in and directions.

Vaccination opportunities are also available to volunteers. According to the release, more information will come after you sign up to volunteer about making an appointment.
