In an effort to engage more closely with local residents and businesses, Tacoma Mayor Victoria Woodards said she will be hosting a monthly “Coffee with the Mayor” series.

During Woodards State of the City address on March 6, she announced that starting in April, community members will have a chance to sit down with her and discuss what’s on their minds’.

“Tacoma, along with the region that surrounds us, is changing rapidly,” Woodards said. “Connecting directly with our residents and businesses has always provided me with the level of perspective I need o make better policy decisions, and I look forward to implementing this new too.”

The events will take place at a different location each month in a different part of Tacoma. More information can be found at City of Tacoma.
