If you’re interested in learning about some changes to Tacoma’s long-term community development plan, which is known as One Tacoma and outlines a vision for the future, two open houses are being hosted on March 13 and March 18.
The open houses were originally scheduled for February but had to be postponed due to the snow conditions. At the open houses, community members will not only hear an overview of the amendments but will also learn the review process and how they can get involved.
At the two open houses, discussions will primarily focus on the Future Land Use Implementation project and potential area-wide rezones. Some refreshments will be provided, and families are welcome to attend.
Amendments to One Tacoma for the current year are no longer being accepted, but information regarding applications for 2020 can be found here.
