The Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue metro area tops the list for the highest growth in the millennial population among metro areas, and ranks No. 4 as the best overall metro area for millennials, according to new research by COMMERCIALCafé, a nationwide commercial real estate listings platform.
According to the study, the Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue metro area performed particularly well for its growth in the millennial population (up 14 percent between 2014 and 2018), the proportion of millennials to the overall number of residents (17 percent), and the percentage of millennials covered by an employment-based health insurance plan (70 percent).
Overall, Denver, Colorado came in first, followed by Austin, Texas and Raleigh, North Carolina.
