SEFNCO Communications, the Puyallup-based wireline and fiber deployment construction contractor, is shifting its existing corporate headquarters to a new space in the Benaroya Company’s business and technology center in South Hill.

SEFNCO will occupy more than 15,000 square feet in the West Office Building, a LEED silver certified, highly efficient space that is designed to mirror the company’s distinctive culture and brand, according to a news release.

More than 90 employees will work from the facility, which the company is moving to because of the its significant growth in the area.

“We are excited to be able to maintain our corporate office in Puyallup with the relocation,” SEFNCO president Seth Sherwood said in a statement. “(This) move (was) made with the intent to support our current needs and anticipated long-term growth.”

The regionally-focused SEFNCO has 11 locations beyond its corporate headquarters, including spaces in Sumner and Tukwila. It provides engineering and construction solutions for telephone, broadband and cable companies across the west.

The new facility, meanwhile, provides services and infrastructure for business and technology purposes, according to the release. The campus sits on 86 “park-like” acres and offers convenient retail, plus room for on-site growth and expansion.

“We are thrilled by SEFNCO’s decision to locate and grow their business at our South Hill Business + Technology Center,” Benaroya partner Larry Benaroya said. “SEFNCO is a great fit and we look forward to welcoming them later this summer.”
