Phrases like “artificial intelligence” or “machine learning” are no longer confined to science fiction novels. A new age of technological advancement is at our fingertips, and Washington state intends on being at the forefront of the movement.

The first step? Bringing together AI policy makers, technology executives, and stakeholders for the inaugural AI: Policy Matters Summit 2019, hosted by the Technology Alliance on Dec. 12 at the Seattle Airport Marriott in SeaTac.

The one-day, interactive event will focus on expanding knowledge and engaging in discussion around artificial intelligence topics, with an emphasis on development in Washington.

During the event, Washington state AI experts will share their work from both the east and west sides of the state. After lunch and a networking break, the conference will resume with a keynote discussion of the relevant policy issues in AI and industry case study perspectives. Finally, the day will conclude with insights from policy makers and experts into what is necessary to keep Washington competitive in AI.

Individual tickets are $249 and registration closes Dec. 6. Click here to learn more.
