After a pipeline ruptured yesterday in British Columbia, Puget Sound Energy is asking its customers to temporarily limit their use of natural gas and electricity.

While PSE said there is no damage to its gas system or safety hazards resulting from the rupture, the company said its supply has been impacted.

Because of the decrease in natural gas supply, PSE suggests that customers set their thermostats to a lower temperature and limit the use of hot water and other natural gas or electric appliances.
