Puyallup residents have a new dining option with the addition of a Golden Corral restaurant that opened on May 15.
The new restaurant is located inside the east entrance of South Hill Mall next to Dicks Sporting Goods at 3500 S. Meridian, Puyallup.
The restaurant is what the company refers to as a “next generation” Golden Corral location. The 9,300-square-foot restaurant features “an endless buffet with more than 150 items including hot off-the-grill steaks served at dinner, a build-your-own salad bar, a variety of slow-smoked meats, and mouthwatering desserts,” according to a press release.
The location will feature modern flourishes to offer guests an “elevated buffet dining experience,” such as a stone fireplace, contemporary décor, and a variety of seating options.
The restaurant employs more than 150 people and is a franchise owned by Anthony Wang. The restaurant’s daily operations are overseen by General Manager DJ Bauer and assistant managers Vicki Chiang, Bryan Joyce, and Victor Parra Luckert.

The restaurant is open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday; 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday; and 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.
