Emish Market & Café, a family-owned grocery store, bakery, and restaurant, will open in Spring 2020, becoming the first tenant of Davis 70, an industrial complex located in Fife at the corner of 20th Street and 70th Street.

Currently operating under the name of Kusher Bakery along 26th Street in Fife, the new tenant sells Eastern European groceries and baked goods, and will expand to serve breakfast and lunch in the new location. The owners, Anatoliy and Maria Zaika, immigrated from Ukraine to Tacoma 15 years ago and first opened their store in Federal Way, which was then relocated to Fife.

Construction has started at the site of Davis 70, which is owned and developed by Davis Property & Investment in cooperation with the City of Fife. At the site, the 14,000-square foot grocery store will sit adjacent to a 55,000-square-foot warehouse space, which is available for lease.
