Muckleshoot Casino is launching a real-money mobile app game, the first casino in the country to offer such a platform.

Playport Gaming Systems, which focuses on “digital, instant-win game technology,” announced the venture Monday and said the two entities will partner to launch the first American offering of Playport’s program.

Playport will provide the casino with a wagering and marketing platform featuring progressive and custom-designed bingo games. It will integrate with existing Muckleshoot loyalty programs, according to a news release.

The program will launch in the fall.

“Being first to the market is relatively easy, but consistently being first to the market with innovative technology … is where we set ourselves apart,” Muckleshoot General Manager Conrad Granito said. “We’re able to not only offer another game-changing way for guests to have fun, we now give them the ease of having Muckleshoot Casino in their pocket at all times.”

The mobile system is a complement to in-person wagering, not a standalone offering; players must buy games and collect winnings at the Auburn facility. The game library, however, will be refreshed regularly, according to the release.

The Kansas-based Playport currently operates at retail locations in Mexico. Muckleshoot marks its first foray into the U.S. market.

“Muckleshoot Casino has a strong history of embracing new, cutting-edge technology and is one of the gaming industry’s most forward-looking organizations,” Playport chief operating officer Frank Rash said. “We are privileged to have Muckleshoot Casino as our first U.S. gaming installation.”
