Pexco, a specialty plastic developer and manufacturer across North America, hosted an International Trade Roundtable at their Tacoma factory on Aug. 21.

In attendance were participants including Congressman Denny Heck of Washington’s 10th congressional district, U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Executive Director of Congressional and Public Affairs Chris Eyler, representatives from Pexco, and 22 business leaders from around the South Puget Sound region.

Discussions ranged in topics from potential infrastructure bills to labor needs to immigration policy. A primary topic of discussion was the authorization renewal of the U.S. Export-Import Bank, the official export credit agency of the U.S., of which Congressman Heck is a staunch supporter.

Participants left rejuvenated after voicing their excitements and concerns for the future of international trade in the region.
