Department of Social and Health Services has teamed up with PayNearMe to allow parents to make cash child support payments at assorted retailers. The new locations taking cash child support payments are 7-Eleven, ACE Cash Express, and Casey’s General Store.

Washington is home to almost 250 7-Elevens, many of which are open 24-hours, making the stores an easy option for parents making payments.

There are several other ways for Washington parents to make child support payments as well. Many payments are paid via federally-mandated wage withholding, but parents can also pay by mail, through Secure Access Washington, through scheduled bank account deductions, or in person at Child Administration offices.

“We want to make it as easy as possible for parents to pay child support,” said Director of the Division of Child Support Wally McClure. “The majority of parents with child support cases do pay regularly, and many of those who don’t, want to pay but have some hurdles to overcome.”
