Pierce County Library System is on the hunt for DIY enthusiasts to share their talent and knowledge at MakerFest 2018.

MakerFest will be held at the AgriPlex building in the Washington State Fair on Nov. 3 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The deadline to apply to be an exhibitor of MakerFest is Sept. 15, however, the deadline to receive priority is Aug. 15. Anyone can apply to share their talents as an exhibitor.

The event focuses on people of all ages showing their passions to the community. Project examples include 3-D printing, coding, cooking, cosplay, robotics, and more.

The event will be free and welcome to all ages. Attendees will be able to explore the displays and demonstrations, while getting hands-on as well.

MakerFest is funded through a donation from the Pierce County Library Foundation and is in partnership with Puyallup Public Library and Timberland Regional Library.
