Revchem Composites is the “leading distributor of resins, foams, fabrics, tools, and accessories for the surfboard industry,” according to the company’s website.

In a big move for the company, Revchem recently decided to consolidate both of its Pacific Northwest locations (one in Tacoma and one in Tulatin, Oregon) to a large distribution center in Tumwater. Tulatin operations will begin relocating to Tumwater this month. After the Tulatin-to-Tumwater transition is complete, the Tacoma operation will begin moving South.

“This move will offer an expansion of resources and far superior support to all customers including better service, more extensive stocking inventory, and more frequent deliveries for all of Washington, Oregon, and parts of Idaho,” Director of Operations for Revchem Composites Andy Schuchman stated.

In addition to improved inventory, service, and delivery, the new location in Tumwater promises to provide a larger fleet of vehicles, a classroom for on-site training, and a materials lab for educating customers and staff on Revchem materials and applications best practices.

Revchem provides a line of materials and supplies under the brand “Douglas Surf” to build and repair surfboards. Its products are also used for a wide variety of other applications including in the marine, auto, golf, and tennis industries.
