Kaiser Permanente recently announced it will open five new medical centers in Washington, increasing its number of locations to 30. Two of the new centers will be located in the South Sound: one in Gig Harbor and one in Olympia.

“We are proud to continue making strategic and customer-driven investments in great care and good jobs in our communities,” Susan Mullaney, president of Kaiser Permanente Washington, said in a statement.

The new clinics are expected to open between late 2018 and early 2020. Each one will feature different services based on the needs of individuals within each community.

Kaiser Permanente is in the process of remodeling its Capitol Hill flagship campus as well. Those renovations will continue through 2022.

“We continue to grow and innovate so that each patient in Washington state can have even more choices for great care,” Mullaney said.
