Inspirus Credit Union recently broke ground on a new branch located at 5373 Auto Center Way in Bremerton.

“Our members in this area have asked us for years to enhance convenience by bringing them a physical branch location,” Inspirus Credit Union President Scott Adkins said in a statement. “We’re excited to announce that by the end of this year, they will have a branch in their backyard.”

The 2,200-square-foot branch will be staffed with four employees and will serve more than 2,500 credit union members in Kitsap County. The building, which also houses 1,700 square feet of leasable tenant space, is expected to open in December 2018. Inspirus also announced its commitment to give back to education programs, teachers, and students in the area.

TriCon Commercial Construction is the general contractor on the project. The Element Group is the architect.

Inspirus operates locations in Tukwila, Lynnwood, and Spokane, and plans to add additional branches across the state in the future.
