The Wells Fargo Community Mural Team recently presented the Federal Way and Parkland branches with murals reflecting the history of those areas.

The Parkland branch mural features historical views of the Tacoma area, including Pacific Lutheran University, Parkland’s Park-N-Shop on Pacific Avenue, military history, and local residents. It is located on the soffit above the primary parking lot entrance.

The Federal Way branch features historical views of the Redondo Skating Arena, Five Mile Lake, Puget Sound, Mt. Rainier, and area residents. It is located on the wall to the right of the teller line.

Both murals feature a mural key, providing captions for each of the images featured in the designs.

The Wells Fargo Community Mural Program is dedicated to creating unique, custom-designed, historical artwork that respects the community’s legacy, celebrates its diversity, and honors the past upon which the community was founded, according to its website.
