Heritage Bank, which operates a network of branches throughout the Pacific Northwest, has acquired a 75,000-square-foot building in Tacoma that will serve as its Southern Operations Center.
The center, which is expected to open later this year, will be named the Brian L. Vance Southern Operations Center in recognition of Heritage Bank CEO Brian Vance, who retired this month after 22 years of service. Effective July 1, Vance assumed the role of executive board chair and will focus on board activities.
The three-story building, located at 3615 Pacific Ave., will be home to administrative departments and key executives currently in King, Pierce and Thurston counties. It will also house a large, multi-use training facility.
