Harbor Place at Cottesmore, a Gig Harbor senior living community, was recently named Community of the Year by its parent organization, Century Park.

“We are very honored to win this award, as there are many great communities within Century Park,” Harbor Place executive director Nicole Long Roberts said in a statement. “I attribute our community winning this award to the amazing team of associates we have here. They work so hard and are so kind, considerate, caring, and compassionate to the residents we serve.”

The Gig Harbor community was recognized for maintaining its deficiency-free status for six straight years, for maintaining minimum turnover within its leadership staff, and for achieving high customer satisfaction.

Harbor Place at Cottesmore won the Community of the Year award in 2017, and the Assisted Living Facility of the Year award in 2016.

“Nicole and her team have set the standard high again and hit every goal set in front of them,” Jenny Graham, Century Park Associates director of operations, said in a statement. “Nicole is a remarkable leader, and we are proud of the team’s accomplishments. Their dedication to their residents is clear, and we appreciate all their hard work.”

Century Park is headquartered in Cleveland, Tennessee, and manages more than 40 senior living communities in states across the country. Harbor Place at Cottesmore is located at 1016 29th Street NW, Gig Harbor.
