Kaiser Permanente’s new Gig Harbor facility officially opened to the public last week. Approximately 50 people, including members of the city’s chamber of commerce, attended a ribbon cutting ceremony on Jan. 17.
The Gig Harbor clinic, located at 5216 Point Fosdick Road Northwest, is the first of five new Kaiser locations expected to open in the coming year or two.
“I’m proud to be providing our growing membership with access to excellent care right here in Gig Harbor,” Dr. Byron Doepker, physician in chief at the new clinic, said in a statement late last year. “My team and I are ready to serve our patients in a brand-new facility.”
The Gig Harbor facility will offer patients primary care, lab services, pediatric care, and mental health and wellness care.
