Six South Sound individuals and organizations were honored by the Gig Harbor Chamber of Commerce this month for their community service.
The Ambassador of the Year Award was presented to First Citizens Bank Vice President and Financial Sales Manager David Reed.
Troy Alstead, owner of Ocean5 and former Starbucks Chief Operating Officer, received the Business Person of the Year Award.
Sabin Investment Management Vice President, Client Advisor, and Marketing Director Allen Woodard received the Chairman’s Choice Award.
The Citizen of the Year Award was presented to LegalShield Senior Director Larry Fickel.
PenMet Parks received the Nonprofit of the Year Award.
The Young Professional of the Year Award was presented to Ryan, Jorgenson, & Limoli Senior Staff Accountant and CPA Pavel Rogov.
The awards were presented during the Chamber’s 34th annual gala event, which was held on January 12 at Ocean5 in Gig Harbor. Events supporters included Confete Party Box, Harbor WildWatch, Heritage Distilling Co., Ocean5, Olalla Vineyard & Winery, PerryCook Flight Services, and Xpirient Luxury Travel Club.
