Pierce County is sponsoring several upcoming free shredding events in cities across the South Sound. Shredding is a secure, recyclable way to dispose of personal or household financial documents. (No business documents are allowed at the events.)

Depending on the number of people who participate, a three-bag limit may be enforced. The county’s website states, “When the truck is full, the event is over.”
