In honor of the 25th National Public Lands Day, all Washington State Parks will be free to enter on Sept. 22. No Discover Pass will be required.
Legislation that created the Discover Pass in 2011 also allowed for 12 free admission days per year. Additional upcoming free days are Nov. 11 and Nov. 23. The no-cost admission only applies to state parks, not WDFW or DNR lands.
