Three local organizations — Pierce County Economic Development, the city of Lakewood’s Economic Development, and the Economic Development Board for Tacoma-Pierce County — are teaming up to host a free educational forum designed to help businesses recruit employees when unemployment is low.
The event, entitled “Finding Great Talent,” takes place from 8-10 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 4 at Lakewood City Hall.
Participants will learn strategies for recruiting talent in a changing labor market.
The forum panel includes Bethany Miller of Work-Force Central and ResCare, Paul Many of Tacoma Community House, Geoff Lawrence of Impact Washington, Kaylee Davis of Concrete Technology, and Denise Johnson of Port Jobs.
