The Washington Center for Women in Business, a non-profit program of the Thurston Economic Development Council Center for Business & Innovation, has teamed up with the Junior League of Olympia to host its Fourth Annual EmpowerU Conference at the South Puget Sound Community College in Lacey on Nov. 16.

Looking to inspire women and arm them with the tools and confidence needed to succeed in today’s marketplace, the one-day event will feature Michele Zukerberg, who will speak on “Women in Negotiations;” Logan Reed, who will speak on “Moving From Stuck to Unstoppable;” and Mariah McCleary, who will speak on “How to Live Like a Flight Attendant: Helping Yourself First.” Breakout sessions, networking opportunities, and a raffle are also included in the programming.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $15, which includes lunch. For more information and to register for the event, visit this website.
