Business wellness consultant Interactive Health has named its Healthiest Companies in America, and one Washington company made the list: Federal Way’s World Vision.
The evangelical humanitarian nonprofit was one of 156 companies that Illinois-based Interactive Health named to the list. Criteria for the honor included a 70 percent or greater participation rate in a workplace wellness program and a low-risk health score for the total employee population.
“These achievements are striking and inspire us because winners set the bar on what can be achieved and demonstrated with validated results. A strong culture of employee health engagement creates positive health outcomes, and is smart business,” said Interactive Health President and CEO Cathy Kenworthy.
World Vision also achieved the designation last year.
