With so much upheaval in the insurance industry of late, it’s been a busy time for Mike Kreidler.

Washington’s Insurance Commissioner will take some time out of his schedule to speak to the South Sound at the City Club of Tacoma’s Feb. 21 Lunch, where Kreidler will discuss several topics as keynote speaker.

Among the subjects on the agenda, according to a message from the City Club: surprise bills that are “all too frequent for Washington consumers,” the state considering its own individual health insurance mandate, and how Kreidler got two counties without plans on the Exchange covered. The insurance commissioner will also talk about what’s coming in the business in 2019.

The event is set for 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 21 at Landmark Convention Center, 47 St. Helens Ave., Tacoma. For more information, click here.
