Lewis County business operators and residents are imagining a community where all children have the necessary skills to succeed in school, where all families have the skills and resources to achieve financial stability and self-sufficiency, and where all individuals have access to crucial healthcare services.
This is United Way's vision for Lewis County, and the underlying theme of its fundraising campaign, whose kickoff major sponsor was WSECU credit union.
Executive Director Debbie Campbell said her agency through volunteers is identifying key issues in the areas of Education, Income and Health, and investing in programs aimed not just at quick fixes, but at viable, long term solutions.
“We recognize that our mission to increase the levels of Education, Income and Health
in Lewis County is a big one,” Campbell said.
