Monique Trudnowski, local restaurateur and community advocate, will serve a five-year term as the newest member of the Tacoma Public Utility Board. She will attend her first board meeting on July 10.
In her role as co-owner and operator of Adriatic Grill Italian Cuisine & Wine Bar, Trudnowski has participated as an ambassador for business in Tacoma and Pierce County. She received congressional recognition this year for her commitment and years of service to the growth and prosperity of the greater Tacoma area and Washington state.
“I am interested in adding another layer of knowledge and advocacy by serving the customers of Tacoma Public Utilities,” Trudnowski said.
Trudnowski is a founding member of the Washington Tourism Alliance and is the board chair for the Tacoma Regional Convention and Visitor Bureau. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Broadway Center for the Performing Arts.
