According to the latest New Home Trends report, Newland Communities’ Tehaleh ranks at the top for new home sales in the Puget Sound region so far this year.

The report specified that, of the 499 communities and new home neighborhoods that have sold homes here in 2013, Tehaleh has sold 142.  

Altogether, there is currently high demand for new homes in the Puget Sound region. Between Pierce, Thurston, King and Snohomish counties, sales are up nearly 23 percent over last year. The average sale price, now $334,425, is also up 6.2 percent from 2012. New homes inventory, however, is down 36.6 percent for that period.

Across the nation, the U.S. Census Bureau reported new home sales ticking up to 8.3 percent in June.
