Tacoma marketing agency JayRay has been recognized by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals for three video projects.

The firm was honored for its work on campaigns for The Place for Jobs coalition, the Evergreen Council for Problem Gambling and a coalition of workforce development organizations for their Housing and Employment Navigator Study. JayRay worked with the organizations to define target audiences, develop video concepts, write scripts and manage production schedules, from scouting locations to identifying brand ambassadors.

Each video served a different purpose: The Place for Jobs video helped launch the initiative, which seeks to attract jobs to fuel the South Sound’s economy. The Evergreen Council’s video sought, through the story of one trained employee, to reach gaming industry leaders with the message that training is a crucial part of the solution to problem gambling. And the Housing and Employment Navigator video summarized the results of a three-year study connecting homeless individuals with stable housing, steady employment and self-sufficiency.
