Employers will get the chance to learn more about Tacoma's new paid sick leave ordinance at two employer information sessions in October.

According to the City of Tacoma, the information sessions will provide an overview of the paid leave ordinance and the tools available for employers. There will also be time for questions and answers.

The first meeting is on Thursday, Oct. 15 from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Tacoma Public Library Main Branch (Olympic Room, 1102 Tacoma Avenue South).

The second meeting will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 20, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the STAR Center Discover Rom, 3873 South 66th Street.
