Helix Design Group, a Tacoma firm established in 1994, has announced that a new building will be opening soon in Puyallup.

The 7,377 square-foot commercial retail building is located at the corner of 47th and Meridian. The brick and stucco building cost a total of $1.5 Million to construct. CityMD, a national walk-in clinic chain, will be a tenant of the building and will be located at the most visible corner of the intersection.

The retail space is intended to accommodate medical offices, restaurants and other retail uses. Helix Design Group has helped design several CityMD locations throughout the U.S.

The team working on the Puyallup building included Alturas Capital, owner and developer; JSH Properties, leasing agent; GeoResources, geotechnical firm; Barghausen Consulting Engineers, civil engineer and landscape architect; Axiom PLLC, structural engineers; and Mountain Construction, contractor.

The leasing agent for the building is JSH Properties. The agent is in the process of assessing potential tenants for vacant spaces.
