More than 17 speakers are in the lineup when the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber hosts the South Sound Summit on Monday, spotlighting the region’s “best business success stories and catalytic leaders.”

Set for the Greater Tacoma Convention & Trade Center, the half-day business summit will be Keynoted by Randi Zuckerberg, former director of market development for Facebook and a sister of the company’s founder, Mark Zuckerberg. She is now CEO of her own social media firm, Zuckerberg Media.

Other speakers slated for the event include Col. Nicole Lucas, garrison commander at JBLM; Dr. Ali Modarres of the University of Washington; Kathleen Deakins, president and owner of public relations firm JayRay; and Nicole Wakley, founder and principal at eco-chic company TREE.

The event will also include networking sessions and over 10 presentations specific to doing business in the South Sound, including business development, customer service, entrepreneurism and cybersecurity.
