Good Done Great, a for-profit/non-profit hybrid company based in Tacoma and Charleston, S.C., recently launched its mobile app, which connects givers, nonprofits, and corporations to charitable causes.
The app, also called Good Done Great, allows users to contribute monthly to over 2 million non-profit organizations in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Users can search a database of charities, follow their favorite organizations and contribute monthly donations to their chosen causes.
It even provides users the capability to automatically withdraw funds from their paychecks to donate on a recurring basis.
Essentially, the app provides the same functionalities as Good Done Great’s desktop platform, but with more portability.
“Many employees do not sit in front of a computer all day. We are excited to provide these employees with the same ability to make a positive impact as their colleagues,” said CEO David Barach. “Employees at our retail and manufacturing partners will now have an easier way to do good.”
The app is the newest sign of growth for the organization, which also acquired Florida-based philanthropy company AmeriGives last November.
