In action taken by the governor October 4th, but only announced today by South Puget Sound Community College, the term of Judith L. Hartmann as a trustee for the school has been extended another four years.
Prior to her first term appointment, Hartmann was a retired executive policy advisor for the governor’s office. She also has extensive experience in the K-12 school system, education policy and the legislative process.
“In a five-member board, every member’s contribution is manifest (and) Trustee Hartmann is no exception,” said Leonor R. Fuller, current chair of the SPSCC board of trustees. “She stepped up to serve as board chair for several years in a generous commitment of her time, and this has enriched her understanding of the board’s governance role in very short order.”
This is Harmann’s second term on the board.
