Shea Homes and Trilogy Active Lifestyle Communities will launch Pierce County's first active adult community as part of the grand opening of Tehaleh, a master-planned community being developed by Newland Communities in Bonney Lake.
Shea Homes at Tehaleh will be debuting five new floor plans and will be the only active adult home builder in the development. Houses will range in size from 1,450 to 2,250 square feet, with prices ranging from $239,900 to $359,900.
The Tehaleh location is the third Shea Homes active adult community in western Washington, joining Jubilee in Lacey and Trilogy at Redmond Ridge in Redmond. Shea also has other communities designed for baby boomers in California, Florida, Arizona and Nevada.
The 4,200-acre planned mixed-used community of Tehaleh is planned to feature area schools, a fire station, more 1,000 acres of parks and open space, an extensive network of trails and a village center. You can read more about the development in the Oct. 1 issue of Business Examiner.
