The City of Auburn is hosting a Regional Manufacturing Forum tomorrow, with a panel of industry leaders slated to talk about the state of manufacturing in the area.

The event will be keynoted by Lieutenant Governor Cyrus Habib, and will also include a panel discussion.

Local executives involved will include Kelly Maloney, president and CEO of the Aerospace Futures Alliance on the topic of regulation and taxation; Jack Meehan, site leader for Auburn’s Boeing Fabrication Plant on the topic of employee readiness; Lew Kliher, director of career & technical education for the Auburn School District on the topic of career-connected STEM and CTE opportunities; and Dr. Todd Cleland, director of corporate relations for the University of Washington on the topic of innovation in advanced manufacturing.

Registration and networking will begin at 7:30 a.m. at the Auburn Community & Event Center, 910 9th St. SE, Auburn. Registration is open to the public at auburnareawa.org.
