Mason County Association of Realtors has given a $7,500 check to Phase Two of the campaign to support South Sound Y Shelton Branch.
The contribution is to assist with the project that was initiated last spring when the South Sound YMCA board voted unanimously to move forward on efforts to bring a Y facility to South Mason County. Phase II is the “Pre-design and Feasibility Study” to be conducted this fall that will specifically define the project scope and size.
“The YMCA will contribute so much to our community,” says Lori Brady-Dolby, president of the local realtors group . “It not only will provide wonderful recreational options for our families and households, it will also boost our economy and enhance our quality of life. Those are the things Realtors care about because we all live, work and raise our families here and help others find homes to do the same.”
