Roger L. Knutson of Sumner has been elected president of the Western Washington Fair Association, Puyallup. Other elected officers include: Jerome M. Korum, vice president; Jerry D. Larson, secretary; Michael D. Nelson, treasurer; and Kent R. Hojem, CEO. Dan McClung of Sumner was elected to join the board of directors. He is taking the position that had been filled by Thomas Tebb, who is going off the board and moving to emeritus status.

Raymond Zukowski has joined the Aldebaran Hypnotherapy School of Milton. He has been a hypnotherapist since 2001, and is the owner of Body Mind Mentoring and an award winning teacher from a post secondary school. He will teach the 150-hour basic, intermediate and advanced hypnotherapy courses leading to state certification as a registered hypnotherapist.
Mark Amberson has joined Albers & Co.’s retirement/wealth management team as senior investment strategist. With more than 20 years of experience managing fixed income portfolios, his expertise includes short maturity, highly liquid money market and enhanced cash portfolios, as well as intermediate and longer term fixed income funds. He has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Washington and an MBA from Pacific Lutheran University.

John Parrott took over last month as president of Totem Ocean Trailer Express shipping company. He has worked at the Federal Way-based company since 1992.
